This database hosts two MLST schemes. The first was developed by Linda Grillová and colleagues at the Masaryk University, Brno, Czech Republic and University of Zurich, Zurich, Switzerland. It is described in Grillová et al. 2018 PLoS One 13:e0200773.

The other was developed by Marta Pla Díaz and colleagues at the University of Valencia, Institute for Integrative Systems Biology, Valencia, Spain. It is described in Pla Díaz et al. 2026 mBio 17(5):e0035826.
