The Streptococcus thermophilus MLST scheme was developed by Jie Yu and colleagues at the Key Laboratory of Dairy Biotechnology and Engineering, Ministry of Education, China. It is described in Yu et al. 2015 BMC Microbiol 15:236(link is external).
